Mary Creech drives a pink Cadillac, just one sign of the success God has blessed her with since 1980 when she began as an independent Mary Kay consultant. Today she is an Independent Executive Senior Sales Director of Mary Kay, Inc. She is a favorite presenter at the annual Mary Kay Leadership Career Conference as well as Ladies’ Classes and church retreats. Her business activities have taken her to Germany, Austria, Italy, France, Turkey, Greece and her mission trips included efforts in Israel and Nigeria.
She and her husband, Jim, worship with the Vultee Church of Christ where Jim is the pulpit minister.
Mary was the first woman to serve on the Herald of Truth Board of Directors.
Jane Melton is a graduate of Abilene Christian University and worked for a number of years as an elementary school teacher before coming to work at Herald of Truth in 1979. For 22 years, she worked with the television program, “Key-man” initiative and coordinated the annual National Family Conference.
Since retiring in 2001, she and her elder husband, Richard, have been involved with numerous aspects of the Southern Hills Church of Christ and continue their 28-year commitment to deliver meals every Friday for Meals on Wheels.
Mark Miller has been married to his wife, Jan (Reno), for 30-plus years. They have three children, Jace, Lane and Katie. They also have one grandson, Minor Miller.
Mark worked in Monahans for Mobile Oil for nine years. He is currently a financial advisor with Edward Jones in Abilene, Texas. He has been with Edward Jones for 28 years.
Mark, a 1978 graduate of McMurry University in Abilene, is originally from Clovis, N.M. He worships with the Hillcrest Church of Christ in Abilene.
Accomplishments provide one measure of Vince Swinney’s life: M.B.A. from Northwestern University, Denver police officer, Army helicopter pilot, Chief Pilot and manager of flight operations for United Airlines, Federal Investigator, Elder for three different churches of Christ and painter.
Another aspect of Vince’s passion is his commitment for the lost of this world as noted that he has served as the chairman of the board of Herald of Truth for over a decade and for a year and a half was its chief executive officer. He has now accepted another term on the Board of Herald of Truth as a member of its advisory council.
Vince and his wife, Beverly, live in the Denver, Colo. area, close to their children and grandchildren. The Swinneys attend the Littleton Church of Christ.
